PTC CELSUS point-of-use smart cabinet with a capacity of 6400 reels brings state of the art material storage technology to the production line, including optional integration with most ERP systems. Celsus utilizes a patented first-in-first-out feeder while environmental data such as humidity and temperature is displayed and collected into a database for traceability and control. Originally designed for storage and release of electronic components the CELSUS smart cabinet can be configured and used with any product. An advanced intuitive user interface results in quick adoption by all production and inventory control personnel.
The smart cabinet’s auto material retrieval from Bill of Material (BOM) eliminates error and manual operation assisting manufacturers on their path towards industry 4.0. The system’s preparatory software ensures full control of each component’s MSD and life cycle. The state-of-the-art design is modular for easy delivery and assembly and is tailored to fit the customer’s needs. Although CELSUS was originally designed for SMT parts packaged in reels it can be used in any industry in which automation of inventory control is desired.
