PTC’s GEN-II Fully Automated VA Series Injection Via Fill System is engineered for high-efficiency, hands-free production, requiring minimal operator intervention. A magazine feeds products onto the via fill stage, where CCD cameras and precision alignment software align fiducials to ensure exact registration before filling.

The via fill paste is injected through a sealed chamber and stencil mask using compressed air, displacing any trapped air for uniform filling. The sealed paste reservoir maintains consistency, supporting stable quality over extended production runs. Operators control injection parameters such as time and pressure via an intuitive HMI, with each cycle completed in 50-55 seconds for optimal speed and quality.
