PTC’s Batch Type Roll-to-Roll Tape Caster is designed for laboratory and pilot-scale tape casting applications. The system casts slurry onto silicone-coated Mylar® carrier film using a precision cylindrical doctor blade and B-roll casting method.
The integrated drying system combines independently controlled bottom heating with heated-air circulation over the coated film to support uniform drying. Finished tape is then wound onto the take-up roll under controlled tension
