Iso­sta­t­ic Lam­i­na­tion Pro­duces Uni­form Pres­sure On All Sur­faces

Pacif­ic Tri­net­ics Corporation’s LT Series Iso­sta­t­ic Lam­i­na­tion Sys­tem uses water to uni­form­ly dis­trib­ute the force of lam­i­na­tion. The result is a lam­i­na­tion process that min­i­mizes delam­i­na­tion, pro­vides more uni­form shrink­age con­trol and pro­duces con­sis­tent­ly flat­ter parts.

We have over 25 years of expe­ri­ence in design­ing and build­ing iso­sta­t­ic lam­i­na­tion sys­tems for the mul­ti­lay­er ceram­ic micro­elec­tron­ics indus­try. Our patent­ed stain­less steel lam­i­na­tion cham­ber is unique and well proven through years of rig­or­ous field appli­ca­tions.

The LT Series Iso­sta­t­ic Lam­i­na­tion Sys­tem is avail­able in 4 dif­fer­ent size diam­e­ters: 4″ (102 mm), 8″ (203 mm), 12″ (305 mm) and 14″ (356 mm). The 4″, 8″, and 12″ sizes have a lam­i­na­tion pres­sure of 8000 psi (351 kg/cm2 ). The 14″ size has a max­i­mum lam­i­na­tion pres­sure of 5000 psi (351 kg/cm2 ) with an option for 8000 psi (562 kg/cm2 ). All sizes have a max­i­mum water tem­per­a­ture of 85 degrees Cel­sius and a selec­table cycle time range of 0.1 sec­onds to 9,999 hours.

The pres­sure curve can be pro­grammed or pro­filed, the cham­ber pres­sure can be more accu­rate­ly con­trolled and pres­sure ver­sus time data can be col­lect­ed. Whether lam­i­nat­ing pro­to­types, low vol­ume pro­duc­tion, high vol­ume pro­duc­tion, or any­thing in between, Pacif­ic Tri­net­ics Cor­po­ra­tion has a reli­able and proven iso­sta­t­ic lam­i­na­tor to fit your appli­ca­tion.
