Isostatic Lamination
Produces Uniform Pressure On All Surfaces
Pacific
Trinetics Corporations IL-4000 Isostatic Lamination System
uses water to uniformly distribute the force of lamination.
The result is a lamination process that minimizes de-lamination,
provides more uniform shrinkage control and produces consistently
flatter parts. We have over 25 years of experience in designing
and building isostatic lamination systems for the multilayer
ceramic microelectronics industry. Our patented stainless steel
lamination chamber is unique and well proven through years of
rigorous field applications.
The
IL-4000 Isostatic Lamination System is available in 4 different
size diameters: 4" (102mm), 8" (203mm), 12" (305mm)
and 14" (356mm). The 4", 8", and 12" sizes
have a lamination pressure of 5000 psi (351 kg/cm2 ),
optional for 8000 psi (562 kg/cm2 ). The 14"
size has a maximum lamination pressure of 5000 psi (351 kg/cm2
). All sizes
have a maximum water temperature of 80 degrees Celsius and a
selectable cycle time range of .1 seconds to 9,999 hours. The
addition of the digital controller option provides 3 added benefits.
The pressure curve can be programmed or profiled, chamber pressure
can be more accurately controlled and pressure versus time data
can be collected. Whether laminating prototypes, low volume
production, high volume production, or anything in between,
Pacific Trinetics Corporation has a reliable and proven isostatic
laminator to fit the application.
